Strawberry Hill House

Strawberry Hill

Strawberry Hill House & Garden, created by writer and politician Horace Walpole in the 18th century, is Britain’s finest example of Georgian Gothic revival architecture and home to an increasingly important collection of paintings and objects. The House is complemented by a charming, compact garden full of a variety of beds, borders, walks, groves, lawns and woodland, restored as much as possible to its original 18th century appearance.
